CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> • COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> May 24 , 1983 <br /> The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance at 7: 30 P.M. <br /> by Mayor Sundland. <br /> Present for roll call : Ranallo, Sundland, Letourneau and Enrooth. <br /> Absent: Marks . <br /> Also present : David Childs , City Manager; William Soth, City Attorney; <br /> Carol Johnson, Finance Director; and Larry Hamer, Public <br /> Works Director. <br /> Motion by Councilman Ranallo and seconded by Councilman Letourneau to <br /> approve as submitted the minutes of the Board of Review and Council <br /> meeting held May 10 , 1983. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Mr. Childs informed the Council members that Apache Plaza had made a <br /> $650 deposit for 25 amusement devices whenever they become available. <br /> Motion by Councilman Ranallo and seconded by, Councilman Enrooth to <br /> grant cigarette licenses for two machines at the Country Club Market <br /> and one machine at Mr. Hobo. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Mayor Sundland distributed copies of a memo suggesting possible ideas <br /> for a policy regarding the serving of beer in the City parks which <br /> would be considered and discussed at a later meeting. <br /> Motion by Councilman Ranallo and seconded by Councilman Letourneau <br /> to grant a temporary 3. 2 beer license to Pat Fagerlee, 3407 Croft <br /> Drive, to serve, but not sell, beer at the Robertson family picnic <br /> to be held in the Central Park Pavillion, June 4 , 1983. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Letourneau and seconded by Councilman Enrooth <br /> to approve the payment of $4 ,486 . 73 to Dorsey & Whitney for legal <br /> services during March, 1983. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Ranallo and seconded by Councilman Letourneau to <br /> approve payment of $1,934 to Bergerson-Caswell, Inc. for the repair <br /> and reinstallation of Well #3. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> • George Wagner was present to report the minutes of the Planning Commis- <br /> sion meeting held May 17, 1983. <br /> The Mayor indicated he concurred with the Commission recommendation <br /> of denial of the request for additional signage for the B. J. Antique <br />
