CITY. OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> • COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> August 14, 1984 <br /> The meeting was opened at 7:30 P.M. with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor <br /> Sundland. <br /> Present for roll call : Ranallo, Sundland, Enrooth, and Makowske. <br /> Absent: Marks. <br /> Also present: David Childs, City Manager; and Larry Hamer, Public Works Director. <br /> The July 24th minutes were amended to indicate the John Rose fundraiser reported <br /> in paragraph 13, page 1 , would be held August 23rd rather than September 23rd. <br /> Motion by Councilman Ranallo and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to approve as amended <br /> the minutes of the Council meeting held July 24, 1984. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Makowske and seconded by Councilman Ranallo to approve the <br /> following licenses as listed in the August 14, 1984 Council agenda: <br /> Contractors Licenses <br /> • Gibralter Mausoleum Corporation, Indianapolis, Indiana; <br /> Rein Builders, Inc. , St. Paul ; <br /> Volp Construction Co. , Inc. , Minneapolis; <br /> Noonan Construction Company, Robbi.nsdale; <br /> Western Construction Company, Minneapolis; and <br /> W. F. Bauer Construction Company, Shoreview. <br /> Heating Licenses <br /> Apollo Heating; and Central Air Conditioning and Heating. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Ranallo and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to grant permits for <br /> the consumption, no sale, of 3.2 beer at the following events: <br /> A softball game to be sponsored by the I .U.O.E. Local 49, 2829 Anthony LaneoSouth, <br /> from 5:00 P.M. to dark,. August 20, 1984; <br /> The annual steak fry to be held on the parish grounds of St. Charles Borromeo, 2420 <br /> St . Anthony Boulevard, Friday, September 7, 1984; and <br /> A family picnic to be held in Central Park from 11 :00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. , August 24, <br /> 1984 as requested by Elaine Sandell , 2501 Lowry Avenue N.E. <br /> • Motion carried unanimously. <br />
