ANTHONY <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Ranallo and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to adopt <br /> Resolution 84-040. <br /> RESOLUTION 84-040 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER <br /> TO ENTER INTO THE AGREEMENT WITH KAVOURAS, INC. <br /> REGARDING THE PURCHASE OF A DOPPLER RADAR SYSTEM <br /> ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> In his September 7th memorandum, Mr. Childs had addressed the proposed ordinance <br /> amendment which was written to bring the City ordinances into conformance with <br /> recent legislation regarding the regulation of gambling activities by non-profit <br /> organizations which will now be under the jurisdiction of the state agencies. A <br /> revised version of the ordinance had been distributed to the Council members and <br /> Mr. Soth confirmed that the City would no longer be issuing licenses for bingo. <br /> . Motion by Mayor Sundland and seconded by Councilman Ranallo to approve the first <br /> reading of Ordinance 1984-005. <br /> ORDINANCE 1984-005 <br /> AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTIONS 445:00 THROUGH <br /> 445:35 (BINGO) AND SECTIONS 905:00 AND 905:05 <br /> (.BETTING) OF THE 1973 CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS AMENDED <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Makowske and seconded by Councilman Marks to approve the <br /> third reading and adopt Ordinance 1984-004. <br /> ORDINANCE 1984-004 <br /> AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO FIRE PREVENTION; AMENDING <br /> SECTION 305 OF THE 1973 CODE OF ORDINANCES <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Enrooth and seconded by Mayor Sundland to adjourn the meeting <br /> at 8:55 P.M. for the meeting of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority which <br /> followed. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> 0 Helen Crowe, Secretary <br /> ATTEST: or,A Mayor <br /> City Cler <br />
