__.._....:w . CITY OF ST. ANTHONY COUNCIL MINUTES December 18, 1984 The meeting was opened at 7:30 P.M. .with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor Sundland. Present for roll call : Marks, Ranallo., Sundland, and Enrooth. Absent: Makowske (arrived at 7:32 P.M. ) . Also present: David Childs, City Manager. Councilman Marks requested the December 4th .Council minutes be clarified related to his report on the Planning Institute training sessions as follows: Page 6, para. 7: Eliminate "special study group" in Line 6 and rewrite the last sentence to read, "The Councilman �sai,d die'ihad been a member of a special study group designed to look at the organization and planning for new "cluster" developments and to bring entrepreneurship and creativity into local government". Councilman Makowske arrived with Tim Pekarek, a St. Anthony High School Junior, who is attending Council meetings as a student observer. • Motion by Councilman Ranallo and seconded by Councilman Marks to approve as amended the minutes of the Council meeting held December 4, 1984. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to grant all the licenses listed in the agenda packet as follows: Heating - Cool Air Mechanical , Inc. ; and Energy Controls, Inc. Contractors - Glisan Construction Company, New Brighton. Motion carried unanimously. The December 18th. listing of verified claims had been distributed prior to the following action: Motion by Councilman Makowske and seconded by Councilman Ranallo to approve payment of: the November 30 and December 18, 1984 listing of verified claims; $1 ,556.40 to Edward J. Hance to cover prosecution costs incurred from November 8 through December 5, 1984; and $157,824.96 to Metropolitan Waste Control Commission reflecting payments of charges for sewer discharge treatments from July through December, 1984. • Motion carried unanimously.
