• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> June 10, 1986 <br /> The meeting was opened at 7:30 P.M. with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor <br /> Sundland. <br /> Present for roll call : Marks, Ranallo, Sundland, Enrooth, and Makowske. <br /> Also present: David Childs, City Manager; William Soth, City Attorney; and Larry <br /> Hamer, Director of Public Works. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Marks and seconded by Councilmember Makowske to approve as <br /> submitted the minutes of the Council meeting held May 27, 1986. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Marks and seconded by Councilmember Enrooth to approve <br /> multiple housing registrations to Sentinel Management for Equinox Apartments and to <br /> Sheldon Mortenson for Caravelle Apartments and to grant a contractors license to <br /> Castle Building & Remodeling, Inc., as listed in the June 10, 1986 Council agenda. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> • Mr. Childs reported Lt. Richard Miller of the Salvation Army, who lives in the Equinox <br /> Apartments, had asked whether a permit would be necessary for the Salvation Army <br /> band to perform in the City, June 18th. The consensus was that the City had never <br /> required permits for similar performances by other bands, and, therefore, no permit <br /> should be required for this activity. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Ranallo and seconded by Councilmember Marks to approve pay- <br /> ment of all verified claims listed for May 31 and June 10 in the June 10, 1986 <br /> Council agenda. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Marks and seconded by Councilmember Enrooth to approve <br /> payment of $1 ,748.55 to Short-Elliott-Hendrickson, Inc. for preparation of plans <br /> for the watermain replacement on Macalaster Drive from 37th Avenue N.E. to the <br /> railroad tracks and from 39th Avenue N.E. to Silver Lane. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Makowske and seconded by Councilmember Marks to approve <br /> payment of $935 for membership dues in the Association of Metropolitan Municipalities <br /> for the fiscal year of 1986. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> • Motion by Councilmember Marks and seconded by Mayor Sundland to approve payment of <br /> $580.10 to Dorsey & Whitney for legal services during April , 1986. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br />
