1 *Allan Pearson, 3300-33rd Avenue N.E. , for the Honeywell soft- <br /> 2 ball and volleyball tournaments to be held in Central Park <br /> 3 August 22nd from 8: 00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. ; <br /> 4 *Robert Davies, 3001-29th Avenue N.E. , for the Village Originals <br /> 5 picnic to be held in Central Park from noon to 7 : 00 P.M. , <br /> 6 September 12th. <br /> 7 Voting on the motion: <br /> 8 Aye: Ranallo, Enrooth, Makowske. <br /> 9 Nay: Marks. <br /> 10 Motion carried. <br /> 11 CLAIMS <br /> 12 Motion by Marks, seconded by Enrooth to approve payment of all the <br /> 13 verified City accounts payable listed for July 31, 1987 in the August <br /> 14 11, 1987 Council agenda packet as well as those for August 11 , 1987 <br /> 15 which had been distributed prior to the meeting. <br /> 06 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 1.7 Motion by Makowske, seconded by Marks to approve payment of $405. 10 to <br /> 18 the Dorsey & Whitney law firm for legal services during June, 1987 . <br /> 19 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 20 Motion by Enrooth, seconded by Makowske to approve payment of <br /> 21 $24,896 .08 to the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission for July sewer <br /> 22 services. <br /> 23 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 24 REPORTS <br /> 25 Short-Elliott-Hendrickson Report on Foss Street Lift Station <br /> 26 The above was given by Don Christopherson,:_ who indicated he was the <br /> 27 Manager of the General Civil Department of the engineering company as <br /> 28 well as a member of its Board of Directors and one of the major <br /> 29 stockholders . Mr. Christopherson introduced Jim Roth, who he said was <br /> 30 the engineer who had done the major part of the legwork involved in the <br /> 31 report. <br /> 32 Mr. Christopherson summarized the study his firm had prepared which -the <br /> 03 Councilmembers had been provided previously. <br />
