C 2 TY (DIF ST _ ANTHONY <br /> COUN C= L M 2 NUTE S <br /> SEPTEMBER 8 , 1 9 8 7 <br /> 1 The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance led by_Mayor <br /> 2 Sundland. <br /> 3 Present for roll call: Marks, Sundland, Enrooth, Makowske. <br /> 4 Absent: Ranallo. <br /> 5 Also present: David Childs, City Manager. <br /> 6 Sympathy Extended to Rita Ranallo' s Family <br /> 7 Mayor Sundland reported Councilmember Ranallo had been called to <br /> 8 California by the sudden death of his father-in-law and expressed the <br /> 9 Council' s sincere condolences to Rita Ranallo and her family. <br /> 10 AUGUST 25 , 1987 COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> 11 Motion by Marks , seconded by Makowske to - approve as submitted the <br /> 12 ' minutes of the Council work session where Peggy Swonger was interviewed <br /> 13 for service on the Eastside Hennepin County Human Services Committee. <br /> 14 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 1*15 Motion by Marks , seconded by Enrooth to approve the August 25th Council <br /> 16 meeting minutes with the following changes: <br /> 17 Page 4 , line 15:' Insert "Medtronics" at the end of the line. <br /> 18 Page 8, line 31 : Substitute "not" for "no" between "but" and <br /> 19 "in" as well as in other ,por-tions of the min- <br /> 20 Utes where the word processor had made similar <br /> 21 errors. <br /> 22 Page 17 , line 12: Eliminate extraneous "m" between "evening" <br /> 23 and "but" . <br /> 24 Page 17 , line 31: Substitute "indicated" for "indicate" between <br /> 25 "also" and "just" . <br /> 26 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 27 LICENSES/PERMITS/PETITIONS <br /> 28 Motion by Marks, seconded by Makowske to grant the following licenses <br /> 29 as listed in the September 8 , 1987 Council agenda packet: <br /> 30 Contractors <br /> 31 Seviola Construction, Blaine <br /> 32 Streiff Industries, Danbury <br /> �33 Heating <br /> 34 Comfort Mechanical <br /> 1 <br />
