7 <br /> Sprinkling Ban, ' Investment of Army Award, AMM Breakfast, <br /> VillageFest <br /> Acting City Manger . VanderHeyden announced that an odd/even <br /> sprinkling ban will go into effect on Wednesday, July 19th, <br /> due to the fact that Well #5 is not yet filtered and cannot- <br /> be put on line to serve the increased summertime water <br /> demand. Special concerns of residents who have put in new <br /> sod will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.. <br /> Ms . VanderHeyden informed the Council that a representative <br />_ of Springsted has prepared options for the City' s investment _. <br /> of its award of fund's from the Army. She invited Council <br /> Members to review the presentation in her office, and noted <br /> that it is also available in a workshop presentation format. <br /> Ms . VanderHeyden informed that Council that an AMM breakfast <br /> meeting is to be held on July 13th. Subjects discussed will <br /> be the upcoming special session, if it is announced, and <br /> their agenda for the remainder of 1989 and 1990 . She invited <br /> Council members to attend. Council Member Makowske noted <br /> that St. Anthony .was one of the forty cities which might be <br /> adversely affected by the proposed levy if the legislature <br /> • were to go back into session for consideration of the tax <br /> bill . <br /> Ms . VanderHeyden said that the VillageFest Committee had <br /> asked her to investigate whether the Council would be willing <br /> to support advertisement in the Northeaster newspaper. The <br /> Special Contingency Fund would be the source of funds to pay <br /> for a three by six advertisement, which would cost <br /> approximately $189 . <br /> Council Action <br /> .Motion by Rariallo, seconded by Makowske , to approve <br /> expenditure of funds for an advertisement in. the Northeaster <br /> for a three by six advertisement in conjunction with <br /> VillageFest promotion. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> The Council agreed that the VillageFest Committee members <br /> should be thanked in the advertisement for -their fine <br /> efforts . <br /> Chamber of Council Sign Ordinance Subcommittee <br /> Ms .
