1 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br /> 2 OCTOBER 27 , 1992 <br /> PAGE 13 <br /> 4 <br /> 5 <br /> 6 1 . Report of Councilmember Wagner <br /> 7 <br /> 8 Councilmember Wagner had nothing to report at this time . <br /> 9 <br /> 10 2 . Report of Councilmember Fleming <br /> 11 <br /> 12 Councilmember Fleming attended the Candidates Meeting <br /> 13 hosted by the St . Anthony Chamber of Commerce. Candidates <br /> 14 for the House and Senate participated in the meeting. <br /> 15 Councilmember Fleming noted that Tom Burt served as the <br /> 16 Facilitator and did a very commendable job. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 She also attended the Fire Station Open House and felt <br /> 19 that a very good job was done but the attendance was not <br /> 20 very high . The Mayor recalled that in prior years there <br /> 21 were pumpkins available at this Open House. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 Councilmember Fleming has received a request from Ed <br /> 24 Grabowski , a resident of Autumn Woods, regarding moving <br /> 25 the polling place from the Fire Station to Autumn Woods. <br /> 26 She was advised this would not be possible. <br /> 27 <br /> 3 . Report of Councilmember Marks <br /> 30 Councilmember Marks noted that in previous reports <br /> 31 regarding prosecutions in the City, the information <br /> 32 included the exact blood alcohol content of arrested <br /> 33 individuals . The reports now only state whether it was <br /> 34 higher than ten percent . <br /> 35 <br /> 36 Recommendations received from the Association of <br /> 37 Metropolitan Municipalities regarding Metropolitan <br /> 38 Government were a disappointment to Councilmember Marks . <br /> 39 He noted that the recommendations about the Regional <br /> 40 Transit Board and the Metropolitan Transit Commission <br /> 41 were particularly impacted with the recommendations on <br /> 42 acquiring rail beds and going forth with Light Rail <br /> 43 Transit projects . <br /> 44 <br /> 45 Councilmember Enrooth stated that the AMM has spent <br /> 46 considerable time on the issue of the Regional Transit <br /> 47 Board. He noted that this board. does not function like <br /> 48 some others and that it lacks direction. <br /> 49 <br /> 50 - Councilmember Marks felt nothing was happening on Light <br /> • <br />
