01 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br /> 2 MARCH 23 , 1993 <br /> 3 PAGE 10 <br /> 4 <br /> 5 <br /> 6 The public hearing for this redevelopment and tax increment <br /> 7 financing was opened by Mayor Ranallo at 7 : 55 p .m. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 The redevelopment project is to build a professional office <br /> 10 building at 3901 and 3909 Silver Lake Road . The building will <br /> 11 house dental offices for Dr . Raymond Hellickson, Dr . Ronald <br /> 12 Vescio and associates . <br /> 13 <br /> 14 A letter was received from the dentists detailing their plans <br /> 15 for redevelopment of these two parcels -which would also <br /> 16 include the removal of an existing structure. Plans for the <br /> 17 project were included in the Council agenda packet . <br /> 18 <br /> 19 Motion by Wagner, second by Marks to approve Resolution No . <br /> 20 93-002 which is a resolution 1993-1 amendment to redevelopment <br /> 21 plan for redevelopment project area No . 3 - Ramsey County and <br /> 22 the redevelopment project to be undertaken pursuant thereto <br /> 23 and tax increment financing plan for tax increment financing <br /> 24 District No. 4 - Ramsey County, and making findings with <br /> 25 respect thereto . <br /> 6 <br /> 7 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 28 <br /> 29 <br /> 30 The public hearing was closed at 8 : 05 p .m. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br /> 33 9 . NEW BUSINESS <br /> 34 <br /> 35 A. Proposed 1993 Street Improvements <br /> 36 <br /> 37 On March 10th, staff held meetings with residents from the <br /> 38 areas in which street improvements are being proposed. At <br /> 39 these meetings estimated costs for each improvement were <br /> 40 presented to those in attendance. <br /> 41 <br /> 42 Streets being considered for reconstruction are Penrod Lane <br /> 43 from 36th to 37th Avenues ; 31st Avenue from Rankin Road to Old <br /> 44 Highway 8 ; Croft Drive from Rankin Road to 31st Avenue; and, <br /> 45 Rankin Road from 31st Avenue to Townview. Streets selected for <br /> 46 an overlay are Rankin Road from 31st Avenue south to dead-end <br /> 47 and Croft Drive from 32nd Avenue from Croft Drive to 31st <br /> 48 Avenue . <br /> 49 <br /> 50 <br /> • <br />
