Report of Councilmember Wanner <br /> 11 <br /> 12 Councilmember Wagner attended the recent board meeting of <br /> 13 the Apache Plaza Merchants ng <br /> He reported that <br /> 14 a statement was made which suggested <br /> 15 the final the City is delaying <br /> 16 plans for the CUB Store in that a walkway is <br /> 17 <br /> being requested . Supposedly, this walkway is to be <br /> th <br /> located between e CUB Store and the shopping Aping center . <br /> 19 Councilmember Wagner corrected this misinformation in <br /> 20 that the walkway is being o <br /> 21 representatives and not the Ciptyosed by the CUB store <br /> 22 <br /> 23 He noted that the Association continues to do a ver <br /> 24 job of planning events in the shoppingy good <br /> 25 attract large numbers of center which <br /> 26 a Health Fair which attracted 3 , 00 a these events was <br /> • 27 people . <br /> 28 Councilmember Wagner attended <br /> a inof the29 Service Advisory Council . ty <br /> 30 SchoolmeetSupergntendentCRoliglis 31 conducting a very thorough analysis of the needs at the 32 Community Center and of Wilshire Park School . <br /> 33 Mayor Ranallo stated that the school ' s lease for use of <br /> 34 the- Community Center expires on November .1st . City <br /> 35 <br /> 36 Manager Burt noted that the City ' s Finance Director has 37 advised him that the operating costs of the Center have 38 increased substantially since the initial lease was 39 signed . <br /> 40 2 . Report of Council <br /> 41 member Fleming <br /> 42 Councilmember Fleming received a call from a resident of <br /> 43 Walker Residence regarding <br /> 44 the drive through traffic <br /> 46 45 behind the bowling alley.
