Norwest Bank Minnesota <br /> 7 <br /> 8 Motion by Marks , second by Enrooth to approve payment in the <br /> 9 amount of $1 , 185 , 000 . 00 to Norwest Bank Minnesota. This <br /> 10 payment is for the debt service which was issued in July of <br /> 11 1988 to construct the temporary water filtration plant and is <br /> 12 now maturing . The money to pay this debt comes from the funds <br /> 13 received from the U. S. Army settlement for the groundwater <br /> 14 _contaminated by the arsenal . <br /> 15 <br /> 16 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 17 <br /> 18 7 . REPORTS <br /> 19 <br /> 20 A. Planning Commission - May 18 , 1993 <br /> 21 <br /> 22 Commissioner Franzese was present representing the Planning <br /> 23 Commission . <br /> 24 <br /> 25 1 . Casanova , 3312 36th Avenue - Garage Setback Permit <br /> 0 Commissioner Franzese advised she did not participate in the <br /> 28 dir3cussion on this request and abstained on the vote as Mr . <br /> 29 Casanova is her neighbor . <br /> 30 <br /> 31 Mr . Casanova ' s proposed garage would be 23 . 6 feet x 22 . 2 feet <br /> 32 and would maintain a four foot setback on the west with <br /> 33 combined sideyard setbacks of twelve feet , four inches. He is <br /> 34 requesting this permit because he needs more garage room for <br /> 35 two cars . He also has noticed that homes with single car <br /> 36 garages have taken considerably longer to sell than those with <br /> 37 double garages . <br /> 38 <br /> 39 Motion by Wagner , second by Fleming to approve the garage <br /> 40 setback. permit to Leonard J. Casanova, 3312 36th Avenue which <br /> 41 would allow for a four foot sideyard setback on the west side <br /> 42 and combined sideyard setbacks of twelve feet , four inches <br /> 43 where the City Ordinance calls for five feet and fifteen feet <br /> 44 respectively as recommended by the Planning Commission . <br /> 45 <br /> 46 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 47 <br /> 48 <br /> 49 2 . D. Henry, 3531 Croft Drive - Garage Setback Permit <br /> 50 <br />
