Sarna for 3259 Stinson Boulevard <br /> 11 to the table for consideration . <br /> 14 <br /> i5 - <br /> 1 � Motion carried unanimously <br /> ] 7 <br /> 19 The variance is being requested to locate a canopy over <br /> "_0 the gas pumps presently on the property . The City <br /> 21 Attorney felt the lot size. was a potential hardship as <br /> 22 the cast to move the pumps would be prohibitive . He also <br /> 23 mentioned that to be comparable to the competition , a <br /> 24 canopy is a necessity and a standard operating practice <br /> 0 due to the prevalence of self service stations . <br /> 27 Motion by Fleming . sec:.r,d by Wagner to approve the <br /> 28 variance request for a canopy at the Stop-N-Shop located <br /> 29 at 3259 Stinson Boulevard . <br /> 30 <br /> 3i Councilmember Marks n(.,te-d that this variance approval <br /> 2 will set a precedent if gas pumps are already installed . <br /> 3.3 The City )Tanager stated th s is, correct . Lauderdale Policing <br /> 41 <br /> 42 The contract to supply police services to the City of <br /> 43 Lauderdale is presently being reviewed by the City <br /> 44 Attorney . It was drafted by Lauderdale staff and <br /> 45 discussed by representatives of both cities . The bid for <br /> 46 sixteen hours of service each day was $158 , 000 . The <br /> 47 contract will commence on the first of the year with full <br /> 48 service being in place by March . <br /> 49 <br />
