Payment in the amount of $1, 477 . 50 for legal <br /> 7 services regarding street improvements through <br /> 8 October 31, 1993 . <br /> 9 <br /> 10 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 V. REPORTS. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 A. Council. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 Mayor Ranallo extended the invitation from the Captain <br /> 17 of the St . Anthony Bowling Team to attend the State <br /> 18 Tournament at 10 : 00 at Nakomis Lake on Saturday, <br /> 19 December 4, 1993 . <br /> 20 <br /> 21 1. Approval of Appointment to the Environmental <br /> 22 Quality/Recycling Committee. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 Motion by Marks and seconded by Fleming to approve the <br /> 25 appointment of Robert Patterson, P.E. , Ph.D. to the <br /> 26 Environmental Quality/Recycling Committee . <br /> 7 <br /> 8 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 2 . Library. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Dennis Cavanaugh appeared before the Council to discuss <br /> 33 recent developments regarding the St . Anthony Library. <br /> 34 He feels that there will be a compromise and the <br /> 35 library will not be closed. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 Councilmember Fleming said some of the Commissioners <br /> 38 felt sympathetic because of the geographical location. <br /> 39 <br /> 40 The City Manager spoke to Representative McGuire and <br /> 41 she indicated that she and the Representative from <br /> 42 Osseo are working on legislation for the libraries that <br /> 43 the County is proposing to close . <br /> 44 <br /> 45 Councilmember Marks said he traveled to Stetsonsville, <br /> 46 Wisconsin recently where his brother-in-law is Mayor. <br /> 47 . Stetsonville is a town of less than 600 people . Their <br /> 48 library was built because somebody donated the money <br /> 49 <br /> • <br />
