ANTHONY <br /> 2 <br /> 3 CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES <br /> 4 <br /> 5 MARCH 1 , 1994 <br /> 6 <br /> 7 <br /> 8 The meeting was called to order at 5:05 P.M. by Mayor Ranallo. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 Present: Ranallo, Wagner, Enrooth, Fleming <br /> 11 - <br /> 12 Absent: Marks <br /> 13 <br /> 14 This special meeting was called in order for the Council to discuss the hiring <br /> 15 method of a City Manager. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 The Councilmembers reviewed a proposal from P.D.I. The cost is $14,000 to <br /> 18 $15,000, plus $1 ,000 in expenses. Their time period was about three months, <br /> 19 which is the same as the Brimeyer Group, Inc. <br /> 4k, <br /> There was an in depth review of the proposal from the Brimeyer Group, Inc.. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 Councilmember Marks arrived at 5:22 P.M.. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Adding a one and two year City Manager review to the six month performance <br /> 26 review was discussed. In addition, asking the agency to give the Council advice on <br /> 27 candidate questioning was discussed. <br /> 28 <br /> 29 Motion by Marks, seconded by Wagner to hire the Brimeyer Group, Inc. for locating <br /> 30 a City Manager, per their proposal. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Aye: Ranallo, Marks, Wagner, Enrooth. <br /> 33 Nay: Fleming. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 Motion carried. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 The meeting was adjourned at 5:55 P.M. <br /> 38 <br /> 39 <br /> 40- <br />
