Anthony and Law Enforcement Labor <br /> 15 Services, Inc . #186 representing the St . Anthony Police <br /> 16 Department . <br /> 17 <br /> 18 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 19 <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Mayor Ranallo advised that City Manager Burt attempted to <br /> resolve all three of the City' s union contracts before he <br /> left . Those not settled are for employee of the Public Works <br /> 24 Department and for the Fire Department employees . <br /> 25 <br /> 26 The Mayor felt it would be rather unfair for a new City <br /> 27 Manager to resolve these contracts when he/she first comes on <br /> 2.8 board. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 The City' s legal counsel recommended they be addressed by Cy <br /> 31 Smythe. <br /> 32 <br /> 33 Acting City Manager Hamer stated that members of' both of these <br /> 34 unions have indicated they are willing to wait for the new <br /> 35 City Manager to resolve their contracts . <br /> 36 <br /> 37 <br /> 38 D. Resolution No. 94-023; Legislation to Recover Legal <br /> 39 Expenses <br /> 40 <br /> 41 This resok"Wn was drafted by the League of_ Minnesota Cities <br /> 42 staff. <br /> 43 <br /> 44 Motion by Fleming, second by Ranallo to adopt Resolution No. <br /> 45 94-023 being a resolution requesting state legislation to <br /> 46 recover costs in prosecuting offenders . <br /> 49 Motion carrf,ed- unanimously <br /> . 50 <br />
