City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> August 9, 1994 <br /> Page 5 <br /> 1 Council consensus was reached to schedule the Truth in Taxation meeting <br /> 2 for Wednesday,November 30, 1994, with the second hearing on <br /> 3 December 14, 1994. It was also agreed to keep the November 22, 1994, <br /> 4 regular Council meeting in case it is needed,but to reschedule the <br /> 5 December 13, 1994, meeting to December 14, 1994 (second hearing date). <br /> 6 3. Call to Order of September 13, 1994 Council Meetinp, City Manager <br /> 7 Morrison pointed out that the regular meeting on September 13, 1994 is <br /> 8 also the primary election and will need to be called to order after polls <br /> 9 close(8:01 p.m.). <br /> 10 4. Reschedule September 6. 1994 Workshop. City Manager Mornson <br /> 11 reported that-the City Hall/Community Center report will not be <br /> 12 completed by September 6, 1994. Because of this, he suggested the <br /> 13 workshop be cancelled and rescheduled to later in September. During a <br /> 14 brief discussion, it became apparent that rescheduling will be difficult due <br /> 15 to Councilmember's schedules. Consensus was reached to cancel the <br /> 16 September 6, 1994, workshop and reschedule it to September 20, 1994, at <br /> 17 7 p.m. to discuss the Community Center update. Mayor Ranallo suggested <br /> that Council schedule a Town Meeting to receive resident's input on a date <br /> 19 following this workshop. <br /> 20 VIII. PUBLIC HEARING. <br /> 21 There were no public hearings. <br /> 22 IX. NEW BUSINESS. <br /> 23 A. Proposed Election Judges for State Primary Election(September 13, 1994). <br /> 24 Motion by Marks, second by Wagner to approve the election judges for State <br /> 25 Primary Election (September 13, 1994) as submitted by staff. <br /> 26 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 27 B. Resolution 94-043, Re: Order Feasibility Report for 1995 Street and Watermain <br /> 28 Improvements. <br /> 29 Dave Ferguson, 3101 Bell Lane, explained that he owns the corner lot and is <br /> 30 concerned that this project may be too expensive. He questioned what his rights <br /> 31 are as a property owner. Mayor Ranallo suggested that Mr. Ferguson contact the <br /> City Manager to schedule a meeting to discuss the formula. <br />
