City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> • July 25, 1995 <br /> Page 2 <br /> 1 Motion by Wagner, second by Fleming to approve a Bingo License for Village Fest, Saturday <br /> 2 August 5, 1995. <br /> 3 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 4 Motion by Fleming, second by Wagner to approve temporary 3.2 beer and wine permit for St. <br /> 5 Charles Borromeo Church Steak Fry and Dance, 2727 Stinson Boulevard, September 22, 1995. <br /> 6 Voting on the motion: <br /> 7 Aye: Ranallo, Enrooth, Fleming, Wagner <br /> 8 Abstain: Marks <br /> 9 Motion carried. <br /> 10 A. Request for Stop Sign at 37th Avenue and Foss Road. <br /> 11 Mayor Ranallo reported he had received a request from residents in the area for a stop sign at <br /> 12 37th Avenue and Foss Road. There was Council consensus to direct staff to perform a study of <br /> 6 the corner to see if the traffic warranted stop signs. He also advised the residents to circulate a <br /> petition in the area to see how many residents were in favor of the additional stop signs. <br /> 15 VI. PRESENTATION OF CLAIMS. <br /> 16 Motion by Marks, second by Wagner to approve the following claims: <br /> 17 A. 6 pages of Verified Claims as presented by the Finance Director. <br /> 18 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 19 VII. REPORTS. <br /> 20 A. Planning Commission - July 18, 1995. <br /> 21 1. Landis & Gyr Powers, Inc., 2808 Anthony Lane South- Temporary, Accessory, <br /> 22 Use Building Placement. <br /> 23 City Manager Morrison reported Mr. William Gresko, General Manager of Landis & Gyr <br /> 24 Power, Inc. is requesting to be able to place a temporary, 10 foot by 40 foot storage trailer <br /> 25 on the property at 2808 Anthony Lane South. He indicated there was no public hearing <br /> 26 required for this action and the Planning Commission recommended approval. <br /> 27 Mr. William Gresko, Landis & Gyr Power, Inc., indicated they will require the temporary <br /> storage for approximately 18 months, until December 31, 1996. At that time, he <br /> 429 explained, the lease will expire and they will either build a permanent site or relocate. He <br /> 30 indicated the storage building will be behind the site and not easily visible. <br />
