NEW BUSINESS <br /> 2 A. .Resolution 96-045. re: Receive Report and Order Plans for the 1997 Street Improvement <br /> 3. Project. <br /> 4 Bob Moberg, Rieke Carroll Muller was present to discuss the feasibility report for the <br /> 5 1997 Street Improvement Project. <br /> 6 Morrison asked how the total street length and estimated assessment rate compared to <br /> 7 previous projects. <br /> 8 Mr. Moberg stated the total street length-ofthe1997 project is 2800 linear feet compared <br /> 9 to the 1995 project of between 4200 and 4300 linear feet. The estimated assessment rate <br /> 10 of the 1997 project is $41.99 per foot and the final rate for the 1995 project was $35.00 <br /> 11 per foot. Mr. Moberg explained the reason the rate is higher is that virtually all the <br /> 12 properties on 35th Avenue N.E. are corner lots. <br /> 13 Morrison noted a tentative schedule for the 1997 project which had been distributed to the <br /> 14 Councilmembers. Tonight's approval is the last action for the City Council until after the <br /> 15 neighborhood meetings have been held. <br /> Enrooth asked how the project would be completed. Mr. Moberg explained the whole <br /> 7 project has to be done at one time due to the underground work that needs to be <br /> 18 completed. He explained a short piece of watermain would be replaced on 35th Avenue <br /> 19 N.E. between Roosevelt Street and Stinson Boulevard. The portion of the watermain <br /> 20 within the street reconstruction area on Edward Street will be replaced. <br /> 21 Motion by Wagner, second by Enrooth to approve Resolution 96-045,regarding <br /> 22 receiving report and order plans and specifications for the 1997 Street Improvement <br /> 23 Project. <br /> 24 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 25 IX. UNFINISHED BUSINESS. <br /> 26 A. Ordinance 1996-005, re: Conditional Uses (2nd Reading1 <br /> 27 Motion by Enrooth, second by Faust to approve the 2nd reading of Ordinance 1996-005, <br /> 28 relating to permitted uses and permitted conditional uses in R1, Single Family; RIA, <br /> 29 Single Family Lake Shore; and C, General Commercial districts in Chapter 16 of the <br /> 30 1993 St. Anthony Code of Ordinances. <br /> 31 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> B. Ordinance 1996-004. re: Ordinance Reading_( 3rd Reading 1. <br /> Q Morrison explained the verbiage of the Ordinance had been revised slightly by City <br /> 34 Attorney Soth. <br />
