Resolution 97-055 - Police. <br /> 6 Motion by Wagner, second by Enrooth to approve Resolution 97-055, ratifying the 1998-1999 <br /> 7 Agreement between the City of St. Anthony and Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc., #186 <br /> 8 representing the St. Anthony Police Department. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 11 2. Resolution 97-056 - Fire. <br /> 12 Motion by Enrooth, second by Wagner to approve Resolution 97-056, ratifying the 1998-1999 <br /> 13 Agreement between the City of St. Anthony and International Association of Firefighters, <br /> 14 Local 3486, representing the St. Anthony Fire Department. <br /> 15 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 3. Resolution 97-057 - Public Works. <br /> 7 Motion by Wagner, second by Enrooth to approve Resolution 97-057, ratifying the 1998-1999 <br /> 18 Agreement between the City of St. Anthony and International Union of Operating Engineers, <br /> 19 Local 49, AFL-CIO, representing the St. Anthony Public Works Department. <br /> 20 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 21 Councilmembers thanked City Manager for his successful negotiations of all three contracts. <br /> 22 Mornson reported there are two issues which are not included in any of the contracts. The <br /> 23 first is the question of the annual consideration of the early retirement programs. The second <br /> 24 is some type of incentive for employees for a reduction of workers compensation claims such <br /> 25 as a wellness program. Morrison noted both issues are being looked into and that both issues <br /> 26 would be difficult to implement unless they were a City-wide policy. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 D. Consideration of Applicants for Planning Commissioner. <br /> 29 Mayor Ranallo explained that interviews were held earlier this evening for three seats on the <br /> 30 Planning Commission. Four applicants were interviewed and each was asked the same five <br /> 31 questions. Each Councilmember then graded the applicants on a rating system and will <br /> 32 appoint on that basis. <br /> 33 Mayor Ranallo reported the applicants who received the highest scores were Doug Bergstrom, <br /> Anthony Kaczor, and Chris Makowske. <br /> �5 <br />
