CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. 5 The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.-m., followed by the Pledge of.Allegiance led by Mayor 6 Ranallo. 7 II. ROLL CALL. 8 Councilmembers present: Mayor Ranallo, Cavanaugh, Marks, Faust and Thuesen. 9 Councilmembers absent: None. 10 Also present: City Manager Mike Mornson. l 1 III. APPROVAL OF SEPTEMBER 14, 1999 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. 12 Motion by Cavanaugh, second by Marks,to approve the September 14, 1999 Regular City 13 Council Meeting Agenda as presented. 14 Motion carried unanimously. 15 IV. APPROVAL OF AUGUST 24, 1999 REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES. 16 Motion by Marks, second by Thuesen, to approve the August 24, 1999 Regular City Council Meeting Minutes as presented. 18 Motion carried unanimously. 19 V. LICENSES/PERMITS/PETITIONS. 20 Motion by Cavanaugh, second by Faust,to approve the following licenses: 21 Multiple Dwelling License: 22 D & J Properties, LLC, 3721 Chandler Drive/ 12 Units. 23 Heating License: 24 Apollo Heating & Vent. Corp., Oakdale, MN. 25 Motion carried unanimously. 26 VI. PRESENTATION OF CLAIMS. 27 Cavanaugh questioned the status of the project relating to the Northdale Construction invoice 28 (Claim "F"). He felt there were some closure problems and asked if there were adequate hold- 29 backs. In response, Mayor Ranallo introduced Todd Hubmer, WSB & Associates. Mr. Hubmer 30 stated that there have been a number of concerns associated with retaining walls at some loca- 31 tions. There are two more retaining walls being installed and some birdbaths in the alleys will be corrected. Mr. Hubmer has spoken with residents and there are a couple of issues regarding paving that will be addressed. Mr. Hubmer assured the Council that issues are being addressed 34 and handled.
