CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br /> 5 The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.-m., followed by the Pledge of.Allegiance led by Mayor <br /> 6 Ranallo. <br /> 7 II. ROLL CALL. <br /> 8 Councilmembers present: Mayor Ranallo, Cavanaugh, Marks, Faust and Thuesen. <br /> 9 Councilmembers absent: None. <br /> 10 Also present: City Manager Mike Mornson. <br /> l 1 III. APPROVAL OF SEPTEMBER 14, 1999 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br /> 12 Motion by Cavanaugh, second by Marks,to approve the September 14, 1999 Regular City <br /> 13 Council Meeting Agenda as presented. <br /> 14 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 15 IV. APPROVAL OF AUGUST 24, 1999 REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES. <br /> 16 Motion by Marks, second by Thuesen, to approve the August 24, 1999 Regular City Council <br /> Meeting Minutes as presented. <br /> 18 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 19 V. LICENSES/PERMITS/PETITIONS. <br /> 20 Motion by Cavanaugh, second by Faust,to approve the following licenses: <br /> 21 Multiple Dwelling License: <br /> 22 D & J Properties, LLC, 3721 Chandler Drive/ 12 Units. <br /> 23 Heating License: <br /> 24 Apollo Heating & Vent. Corp., Oakdale, MN. <br /> 25 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 26 VI. PRESENTATION OF CLAIMS. <br /> 27 Cavanaugh questioned the status of the project relating to the Northdale Construction invoice <br /> 28 (Claim "F"). He felt there were some closure problems and asked if there were adequate hold- <br /> 29 backs. In response, Mayor Ranallo introduced Todd Hubmer, WSB & Associates. Mr. Hubmer <br /> 30 stated that there have been a number of concerns associated with retaining walls at some loca- <br /> 31 tions. There are two more retaining walls being installed and some birdbaths in the alleys will be <br /> corrected. Mr. Hubmer has spoken with residents and there are a couple of issues regarding <br /> paving that will be addressed. Mr. Hubmer assured the Council that issues are being addressed <br /> 34 and handled. <br />
