CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br /> 6 The meeting was called to order at 6:08 p.m., followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by guests <br /> 7 in attendance, Joe Stark, Marty Stark, and Andrew Selseth. <br /> 8 Mayor Ranallo clarified for the audience that there were three meetings scheduled for December <br /> 9 16, 1999: Truth-in-Taxation, City Council, and Housing and Redevelopment Authority <br /> 10 (H.R.A.). <br /> 11 II. ROLL CALL. <br /> 12 Councilmembers present: Mayor Ranallo, Cavanaugh, Marks, Faust and Thuesen <br /> 13 Councilmembers absent: None <br /> 14 Also present: Michael Momson, City Manager; William R. Soth, City Attorney. <br /> 15 III. APPROVAL OF NOVEMBER 30, 1999 TRUTH IN TAXATION PUBLIC HEARING <br /> 16 MINUTES. <br /> 17 Motion by Marks, second by Faust, to approve the November 30, 1999 Truth in Taxation Public <br /> �8 Hearing Minutes as presented. . <br /> 19 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 IV. RESOLUTION 99-072, RE: ADOPTION OF 2000 TAX LEVY AND 2000 CITY <br /> 22 BUDGET. <br /> 23 Motion by Marks, second by Thuesen, to approve Resolution 99-072, re: Adoption of 2000 Tax <br /> 24 Levy and 2000 City Budget as follows: <br /> 25 1) The 2000 property tax levy is: <br /> 26 Property Tax Levy $1,996,178 <br /> 27 Less: H.A.C.A. ( 339,208) <br /> 28 Total General Fund Levy $1,646,970 <br /> 29 Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 20,000 <br /> 30 Less: H.A.C.A. ( 4,5971 <br /> 31 Total Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy: $ 15,403 <br /> 32 Special Assessment/road Improvements $ 238,142 <br /> dr 3 Total 2000 Tax Levy $1,900,515 <br /> 34 2) The 2000 Total Operating Budget totals $6,634,950 <br />
