City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> October 24, 2000 <br /> • Page 9 <br /> 1 7. Morrison directed the Council's attention to the items on the agendas for the rest of the <br /> 2 year 2000. <br /> 3 8. Morrison noted that there are`four 2001 major projects (to date): <br /> 4 a. Steering Committee work; <br /> 5 b. Central Park; <br /> 6 c. Harding Holding Pond; and <br /> 7 d. 2001 Street Project. <br /> 8 Thuesen did not have a report. <br /> 9 Horst did not have a report. <br /> 10 Hodson did not have a report. <br /> I i Sparks did not have a report. <br /> 12 Cavanaugh reported that he attended a cable commission conference. The City has two new <br /> franchises coming and he believed that the Council and community needed to talk about what is <br /> 04 set for the future. <br /> 15 Cavanaugh noted that there is a tour of the arsenal on Thursday regarding groundwater pollution. <br /> 16 Furthermore, Cavanaugh reported that there is an upcoming policy adoption conference for the <br /> 17 League of Minnesota Cities, and it was his suggestion that all of the Councilmembers attend this <br /> 18 conference if possible. <br /> 19 Lastly, Cavanaugh reported that he'had received a letter from Salvation Army, and they have re- <br /> 20 quested copies of the Council's meeting notices. Cavanaugh suggested to City Manager Michael <br /> 21 Morrison that all information available be sent to the Salvation Army. <br /> 22 XII. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> 23 None. <br /> 24 XIII.
