The well has not been <br /> used by the City in over 25 years and staff concurs with the health <br /> department. We plan to complete the work this winter. After the <br /> pump is pulled, several agencies are planning to inspect the well - and <br /> thereafter it will be growted and capped. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT: <br /> The cost of pulling the pump is $1, 100 based on a quote from <br /> Layne Minnesota. Additional cost laster in the winter - after the <br /> testing is complete is the cost of grouting the well. Larry Hamer <br /> has also discussed the possibility of selling the motor and pump to <br /> a small town etc. , which may have use for it. <br /> ALTERNATIVES : <br /> Approve quote of Layne Minnesota of 1,100 to pull Well #2. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> • CITY MANAGER'S REVIEW: COMMENTS : <br />
