CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> November 8 , 1983 <br /> The meeting was - opened• at .8:00 P..M. with - the Pledge- of Allegiance- led , <br /> 1 by Mayor- Sundland. <br /> s <br /> i <br /> Present. for. roll .call: Marks; Ranallo,. Sundland, Letourneau and <br /> i Enrooth. <br />{ Also present: David Childs , City Manager. <br /> Motion by - Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Letourneau to <br /> approve as submitted the minutes of the Council meeting held October <br /> 25 , 1983. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to grant <br /> a heating license to All Season Comfort, Inc. , New Brighton. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> In discussing the claims listed in the Council agenda, Mr. Childs <br /> explained that the three unemployment compensation claims against. the <br /> City liquor operation would be paid from liquor funds and therefore <br /> only the compensation claim for a :former staff member would have - to <br /> be approved by the Council. He also told Councilman Enrooth the <br /> claim for engineering services on the sewer 'rehabilitation project <br />_ on Edward Street-.was for their study of whether reconstruction of the <br /> line at a higher elevation would be feasible . <br /> Motion by Councilman Ranallo and seconded by Councilman Marks .to <br /> approve payment of all claims listed in the November 8, 1983 Council <br /> agenda as follows : <br /> 1. All verified claims listed for September 30th and November 8th. <br /> 2 . $1 , 840 to Doty & Sons for excavating for repair of the water-sewer <br /> line on Edward Street N.E. <br /> 3. $736 to State of Minnesota for unemployment compensation ,for a <br /> former 'City employee. <br /> ' 4.' $885 to Dorsey &:Whitney for . legal services during August, 1983. <br /> 5. $837:-27 to* Short-Elliott-Hendrickson, Inc.., -for feasibility. study <br /> for rehabIlitation of water-sewer line- on Edward. Street- N-.E. <br /> .6. -.$1,179..-71- to� Short_Elliott-Hendrickson, .-Inc. for preparation ' of <br /> preliminary plans for the �waterma n replacement.-on 37th Avenue <br /> • N.E. ; . between S-i-lver Lake Road and..Highcrest Road. . . <br /> Motion -carried unanimously: :- <br />
