STATE OF MINNESOTA JUVENILE DELINQUENCY PREVENTION <br /> ENERGY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION FOR MINI—GRANT <br /> JUSTICE GRANT PROGRAM PAGE 3 INSTRUCTIONS <br /> 11. BUDGET (general information). This budget should cover the period for which <br /> grant funds are requested in THIS application. Budget figures should reflect <br /> how the applicant intends. to spend the federal funds requested in this <br /> application. <br /> a. Personnel. Project cost must be the total wages or salary to be paid <br /> to the person during the period covered by THIS grant application. <br /> b:. Fringe Benefits. Indicate the total cost, if any, of each benefit pro— <br /> vided for the period covered by this application. <br /> c. Travel. Travel costs should be based on the best estimates of the <br /> applicant. State agencies must use state travel regulations. Local <br /> units of government must adhere to local travel regulations. In cases <br /> where no formal travel regulations exist, state travel regulations apply. <br /> List the total travel cost anticipated. <br /> d. Equipment. Indicate the total cost in this category all purchased <br /> tangible personal property having a useful life of more than one year <br /> and an acquisition cost of $300 or more per unit. Refer to cost allow- <br /> ability principles and procurement procedures and standards printed in <br /> M7100.1B, Financial Management for Planning and Action Grants. <br /> e. Supplies. Indicate the total cost in this category all tangible items <br /> that will be consumed during the life of this project. Also include <br /> tangible items having a useful life of one year or more and an acquisi— <br /> tion cost of less than $300. <br /> f. Contracted Services. List the total project cost of services to be <br /> provided by consultants utilized by this project, e.g.,, survey research, <br /> curriculum development. <br /> g. Other Direct Costs. Indicate all direct costs not previously listed, <br /> e.g. , space rental, telephone service, minor remodeling, leasing of <br /> equipment. <br />
