CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 91-019 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER <br /> TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF <br /> BLOOMINGTON FOR PROVISION OF HEPATITIS B VACCINE <br /> WHEREAS, Hepatitis B is an infectious disease of the liver from which hospitalization or <br /> death can result; and <br /> WHEREAS, preventing the spread of hepatitis B would include vaccination of individuals <br /> such as law enforcement personnel and firefighters who have a high risk of <br /> infection; and <br /> WHEREAS the City of Bloomington's Division of Public Health has agreed to vaccinate <br /> employees of the City of St. Anthony so as to minimize infection with hepatitis <br /> B. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br /> hereby authorizes its Mayor and City Manager to enter into an agreement with the City of <br /> Bloomington for provision of the hepatitis B vaccine. <br /> Adopted this day of , 1991. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: <br /> City Manager <br />
