ain thon <br /> illa e <br /> Administrative Offices <br /> 3301 Silver Lake Road, St. Anthony, Minnesota 55418-1699 <br /> (612) 789-8881 FAX (612) 781-9323 <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> WHEREAS, the National Association of Town Watch (NAM is sponsoring a unique, <br /> nationwide crime and drug prevention program on August 2, 1994, called <br /> "National Night Out"; and <br /> WHEREAS, the "11th Annual National Night Out"provides a unique opportunity for St. <br /> Anthony to join forces with thousands of other communities across the country <br /> in promoting cooperative, police-community crime and drug prevention efforts, <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony plays a vital role in assisting the St. Anthony Police <br /> Department through joint crime and drug prevention efforts in St. Anthony and <br /> is supporting "National Night Out 1994" locally; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is essential that all citizens of the City of St. Anthony be aware of the <br /> importance of crime prevention programs and impact that their participation <br /> can have on reducing crime and drug abuse in the City of St. Anthony; and <br /> WHEREAS, police-community partnerships and neighborhood safety and awareness and <br /> cooperation are important themes of the "National Night Out"program. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, we, the St. Anthony City Council, do hereby call upon all citizens of the <br /> City of St. Anthony to join the St. Anthony Police Department and the National Association of <br /> Town Watch in supporting "11th Annual National Night Out" on August 2, 1994. <br /> FURTHER, LET IT BE RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE ST.
