CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> ORDINANCE 1994-003 <br /> AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO SIGNS, AMENDING <br /> SECTIONS 1400.04 AND1400.10 <br /> OF THE 1993 <br /> ST. ANTHONY CODE OF ORDINANCES <br /> The City Council of the City of St. Anthony hereby ordains: <br /> Section 1. Section 1400.00 i s will be amended as follows: <br /> 1400.04 Definitions. For the purposes of this Chapter, the following terms have the <br /> meanings given them in this Section: <br /> Subd. 11. Ground Sign. Any sign which is freestanding by virtue of being <br /> structurally independent of any structure or object, and is affixed to the ground <br /> by means of a base with no visibility between the bottom of the sign and the <br /> base on which it is attached, and landscaped to enhance the appearance of the <br /> signage. <br /> • 1400.10 Ground Signs. Are permitted in all districts subject to the following: <br /> Subd. 1. Permit Application. A permit is applied for in accordance with- <br /> Subsection 1400.09. <br /> Sub. 2. Height. A sign must not exceed 8 feet in height, including pedestal <br /> and any berming. <br /> Subd. 3. Surface Area: <br /> (1) Signs having one copy surface may have up to 34 square feet of surface <br /> area. <br /> (2) Signs having two or more copy surfaces may have up to 68 square feet <br /> for all surfaces. <br /> (3) Buildings with two or more businesses/tenants shall be allowed an <br /> additional 12 square feet for two or more copy surfaces, for a total of 80 <br /> square feet. <br /> i <br />
