City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> October 10, 1995 <br /> Page 4 <br /> 0 <br /> 1 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 2 C. Resolution 95-050. re: Rental Lease with Community Services, <br /> 3 Motion by Marks; second by Fleming to adopt Resolution 95-050, regarding approval of <br /> 4 the lease between the City of St. Anthony and School District No. 282 and authorizing <br /> 5 the Mayor and City Manager to execute lease on behalf of the City. <br /> 6 Morrison noted this amount had increased by 5% for the year of 1996. <br /> 7 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 8 D. Resolution 95-051. re: Metropolitan Livable Communities. <br /> 9 Morrison reported in the 1995 Legislative Session a new law was passed to encourage all <br /> 10 cities in the seven county metropolitan area to take part in the Metropolitan Livable <br /> 11 Communities Act. Participation in this act will provide access to incentives and outside <br /> 12 grants. The three actions required are to adopt a resolution by November 15, 1995,adopt <br /> 13 housing goals to be achieved over the next fifteen years, and adopt a plan of action by <br /> 14 June 30, 1996. Morrison reported the City of St. Anthony meets or exceeds all the <br /> 15 standards set forth by the Act and the goal of St. Anthony will be to maintain these <br /> 16 standards. <br /> Motion by Marks, second by Wagner to adopt Resolution 95-051, regarding electing to <br /> 'I 8 participate in the Local Housing Incentives Account Program under the Metropolitan <br /> 19 Livable Communities Act. <br /> 20 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 21 X. UNFINISHED BUSINESS -None. <br /> 22 XI.
