City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> March 11, 1997 <br /> Page 5 <br /> 1 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 2. D. Resolution'97-027, re: Approve Engineering Firm to Develop Storm Water <br /> 3 Management Plan. <br /> 4 Motion by Marks, second by Faust to approve Resolution 97-027, approving a <br /> 5 proposal to prepare a Storm Water Management Plan from WSB, Inc. in the amount of <br /> 6 $22,100. <br /> 7 <br /> 8 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 9 E. Resolution 97-028, re: Addendum to BRW, Inc. Contract. <br /> 10 Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth to approve Resolution 97-028, approving an <br /> 11 addendum to the Comprehensive Plan Update being prepared by BRW, Inc. for an <br /> 12 ad -iifional fee of$7,500. <br /> 13 Marks noted there was nothing included with respect to the performing arts center. He <br /> 14 stated he felt this should be located in the Comprehensive Plan Update even if it will <br /> 15 not be built immediately. <br /> 16 Enrooth stated he would.like the completion date to be stated in more concrete terms <br /> 7 than "over the next several months". <br /> 18 Mornson-stated he would be meeting with BRW, Inc. tomorrow and will see that these <br /> 19 two issues are addressed. <br /> 20 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 21 F. Approve Purchase of Exercise Equipment for Exercise Room. <br /> 22 Mornson reported that last fall the Police Department was given $5,000 from Tri-City <br /> 23 Legion Post to initiate a bike patrol. Subsequently, the two officers who were trained <br /> 24 for the position took jobs with other cities. No one else has shown an interest for the <br /> 25 bike patrol program and it is being recommended that the funds be used for exercise <br /> 26 equipment in the workout room. <br /> 27 Enrooth asked if this was the only bid received. <br /> 28 Mornson stated this was the lowest of three bids received. He noted the total cost is <br /> 29 $6,212,70 of which $5,000 cost will be obtained from the funds donated by Tri-City <br /> 30 and $1,212.70 will be obtained from the Police Forfeiture Account. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Motion by Marks, second by Faust to approve purchase of exercise equipment for the <br /> 33 workout room from 2nd Wind in the amount of$6,212.70 to be paid with $5,000 <br /> 4 funds received from Tri-City Legion and $1,212,70 from the Police Forfeiture <br /> -35 Account. <br />
