MEMORANDUM - <br /> DATE: September 21, 1999 <br /> TO: Michael J. Mornson, City Manager <br /> FROM: Kim Moore-Sykes, Management Assistant <br /> ITEM: September 21 Planning Commission Meeting Summary <br /> 1. Planning Commission Representative. Chris Melsha will be the Planning Commission <br /> Representative to the Council at the September 28te Council meeting. <br /> 2. Public Hearings. <br /> A. 99-010 Doolan Lot Coverage Variance Request. A motion to recommend <br /> denying this request for variance passed by 4-1 vote, with Kim Tillmann being the <br /> nay vote. The Planning Commission felt that they did not have enough of a <br /> hardship to warrant an approval of their request. <br /> 3. Concept Review. <br /> None. <br /> 4. Other Business. <br /> A. Report on projects by Public Works Director. Jay reported on the status of <br /> this year's public works projects and.those scheduled for 2000. <br /> B. Salvation Army Camp. The Planning Commission reviewed the Springsted <br /> report and appraisal. The Planning Commission will be submitting a report on <br /> their recommendations for the site. <br /> C. Code Enforcement. The Planning Commission is very concerned about the <br /> conditional use permit issued to Exhaust Pros and their continued failure to adhere <br /> to the conditions of the permit. The Commissioners discussed having a work- <br /> session to develop recommendations to present to the City Council. <br /> 5. Adjournment. The Planning Commission adjourned at 10:00 p.m. <br />
