33 <br /> PRESS RELEASE <br /> THE ST. ANTHONY CITY COUNCIL is seeking residents with an interest in City <br /> government to fill the Council vacancy which will occur beginning the first of January, 2000. <br /> The vacancy was created when current Councilmember Dennis Cavanaugh became St. <br /> Anthony's Mayor.- The appointment would be to complete his Councilmember term to <br /> December 31, 2001. The City Council is a paid government body consisting of the Mayor and <br /> four at large members who are elected for staggered four year terms. The City Council meets <br /> the second and fourth Tuesdays at 7:00 PM at City Hall. Interested individuals must be <br /> eligible voters (18 years of age; citizen of the United States; and living in the state of <br /> Minnesota for 20 days prior to appointment) residing in the City of St. Anthony. If you are <br /> interested in the'Council vacancy and meet the requirements, you may obtain an application <br /> either at the St. Anthony City Hall or'by requesting one by FAX (612-781-9323). After the <br /> application is completed, please return it to the City Manager, by FAX or mail at 3301 Silver <br /> Lake Road, St. Anthony, MN 55418 or by FAX.
