CALL TO ORDER. <br /> 5 Chairman Cavanaugh called the meeting was called to order at 8:37 p.m. <br /> 6 II. ROLL CALL. <br /> 7 Commissioners present: Chairman Cavanaugh, Vice Chair Thuesen, Commissioners <br /> 8 Sparks, Horst, and Hodson <br /> 9 Commissioners absent: None. <br /> . 10 Also present: Executive Director Michael Morrison; City Attorney William Soth. <br /> 11 III. APPROVAL OF JANUARY 25,2000 H.R.A. AGENDA. <br /> 12 Motion by Horst to approve the January 25, 2000 H.R.A. agenda as presented. <br /> 13 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 14 IV. CONSENT AGENDA. <br /> 5 Motion by Horst to approve the Consent Agenda as presented. <br /> 16 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 17 V. GENERAL POLICY BUSINESS OF THE H.R.A. <br /> 18 None. <br /> 19 VI. STAFF REPORTS. <br /> 20 A. Review proposals for design services and action schedule for redevelopment of the St. <br /> 21 Anthony Shopping Center. Dick Krier, development consultant, will be present. <br /> 22 Executive Director Michael Morrison explained to the Commission that the issue of Shopping <br /> 23 Center redevelopment has been in front of the Commission for a long time. At the end of 1999, <br /> 24 the.City closed on the easement for.the Shopping Center and The Hitching Post. Morrison stated <br /> 25 that he invited Mr. Krier to speak to the Commission regarding the next step in the <br /> 26 redevelopment process. <br /> 27 In this respect, Morrison invited Dick Krier, Midwest Planning and Design, to address the <br /> 28 Commission. <br /> 29 Mr. Krier directed the Commission's attention to item nos. 4, 5, 6 and 7 in the meeting packets. <br /> 0 Through a process of extensive participation, Mr. Krier explained that a plan was adopted and he <br /> 1 reviewed that plan with the Commission. Additionally, a schedule has been prepared and Mr. <br /> 32 Krier reviewed the schedule with the Commission. The highlight, he stated, is that the Parks <br /> 33 Commission,property owners, and businesses are involved in going through the final stages of <br />
