CONSENT AGENDA. <br /> 7 A. Consider February 11, 2003 Council meeting minutes. <br /> 8 B. Consider licenses and permits. <br /> 9 C. Consider payment of claims. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Motion by Councilmember Horst.to approve the Consent Agenda items tabling the Council <br /> 12 Meeting Minutes of February 11, 2003. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 V. PUBLIC HEARINGS. <br /> 17 None. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 VI. REPORTS FROM COMMISSION AND STAFF. <br /> 20 A. Update from the Planning Commission. <br /> 21 Commissioner Tillman reviewed the revisions and additions being made to the Pawnbroker and <br /> 22 Secondhand Goods Ordinances with the Council. She noted the public hearing for this <br /> 23 Ordinance would be held in April. Commissioner Tillman indicated the Commission was also <br /> 24 addressing an Adult Daycare Ordinance as requested by a potential new business in the City. <br /> 25 She noted staff presented the Commission with several draft Ordinances and explained further <br /> 26 discussion would be held in April. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 B. Update from the Parks Commission, <br /> 29 Chair Jindra updated the Council on park progress. She noted the Central Park project is moving <br /> 30 along and reseeding would commence this spring due to poor weather conditions last summer <br /> 31 and fall. Chair Jindra indicated the shelter was almost complete and things are moving along <br /> 32 according to the budget. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Chair Jindra noted Silver Point Park has not gone as planned and was over budget at this time. <br /> 35 She stated a new prefabricated shelter was going to be placed at this park with the necessary <br /> 36 amenities to suit the park. Chair Jindra reviewed the shelter layout and location of the building <br /> 37 within the park. She explained the existing basketball court would have to be moved as the new <br /> 38 shelter would fit on its current site. <br /> 39 <br /> 40 Councilmember Horst asked if this prefabricated building had been presented to the Council in <br /> 41 the past. Chair Jindra stated it may have been addressed at a workshop meeting in January. <br /> 42 <br /> 43 Mayor Pro-Tem Faust questioned how the prefabricated building was assembled. Mr. Mornson <br /> 44 explained there were two parts to the building, one portion for the payment of the building parts <br /> 45 and a second portion for assembling the building. He noted the goal was to keep this building <br /> 46 within the amount currently budgeted. <br />
