13
MEMORANDUM
DATE: 11/1/04 MEETING DATE: 11/16/04
TO: Chair Stromgren & Planning Commission Members
FROM: Susan M.H. Hall, Assistant City Manage
r
SUBJECT: Robert Muir Co, Subdivision/Preliminary and Final Plat
Requested Action:
On November 16, the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on a subdivision
request, as well as preliminary and final plats for the Robert Muir Company, concerning
the 2600 and 2700 Blocks of 39th Avenue Northeast in the new Silver Lake Village
development. The Planning Commission's recommendation will be forwarded to the City
Council for their November 23 meeting. No concept review was held on the request due
to time constraints for the applicant.
Background:
The applicant, Robert Muir Company, has submitted to the City of St. Anthony a
subdivision request and approval of a preliminary and final plat (please find the
documents attached). URS has submitted the subdivision application on behalf of
Robert Muir Company.
The reason for the subdivision request, according to the applicant, is so the subject
properties can be separated as two distinct tax parcels. The evolution of the plan has
resulted in two different uses for the buildings on Lot 1, Block 2 of the Silver Lake
Village development. See attached URS letter dated October 19, 2004, for more details.
The applicant is requesting preliminary and final plat approval simultaneously.
Attachments:
• Application for Subdivision/Plat Approval
• URS 10/19/04 letter
• Preliminary and Final Plat
