RESOLUTION 76--029 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TREE REMOVAL -SUBSIDY <br /> PROGRAM AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM THE <br /> COUNCIL'S CONTINGENCY -TO FINANCE THE PROGRAM <br /> WHEREAS the incidents of Dutch Elm and Oak Wrlt -have _ <br /> escalated dramatically in St., Anthony during 1976 and <br /> WHEREAS the removal of diseased trees is often times an <br /> unbearable burden upon residents and <br /> WHEREAS it is in the best interest of all of the residents <br /> of the City of St. Anthony to further the disease control program <br /> of the City by insuring the prompt removal of trees diseased with <br /> Dutch Elm and Oak Wilt disease <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br /> City of St. Anthony hereby authorizes a local subsidy program <br /> for the removal of diseased elm and oak trees and appropriates . <br /> $4;000 .00 from the Council' s contingency for fiscal year 1976 . <br /> Adopted July 13 , 1976 <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: &OUL6 <br /> Clerk <br /> U i144 <br /> C ' y M nager <br /> c <br /> f <br /> r 1 <br /> i <br />
