(Continue on additional sheet if space
is inadequate. )
In St. Anthony -our loss ratio has been low to date but is increasing i
rapidly as noted above. The aesthetic loss to the community will be
rather drastic as St. Anthony has approximately 450 acres of land {
(Gross 'Golf Course, Sunset Cemetery and Salvation Army Camp) located
within our limits that are semi public private and are extensively
forested with elms and oaks. In addition St. Anthony has St. Anthony
Boulevard running through the city for approximately one and one-fourth
miles and . the boulevard has two rows of elms along both sides of it
that are very large and beautiful. Other areas of the city also have
numerous elms although some areas do not. The loss on private non
• residential property will be particularly hard hittin in St. Anthony
as we have 3 cemeteries , one golf course and one camp area all in a
rather small community and all are extensively forested with elms
and the subsidy program as presently constituted doesn 't even apply
to them.
i.
i
I
f
I
i
i
I
I
i
f
I
R
r
3 - 8/75 AGR 36
