ANTHONY <br /> NOTICE OF HEARING ON ASSESSMENTS <br /> FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT (HIGHCREST ROAD) <br /> PROJECT NO. 1979-001 <br /> Notice is hereby given that the City Council- of the City of <br /> St. Anthony, Minnesota, will meet in the Council Chambers of <br /> Park View, 330.1 Silver Lake Road, Center N.E. corner)_ on Tuesday, <br /> September 9 , 1980, at 8:30 _ P.M.., to hear, consider and pass upon <br /> all written objections, if any, to. proposed assessments in respect <br /> to Street Improvement _Project No. 1979-001. The proposed assess- <br /> ment roll _ is now on file and .open to public inspection by all <br /> persons interested in the office of the City Clerk. <br /> The general nature of Street Improvement. Project No. 1979-001 is <br /> a bituminous roadway, curbing, sanitary sewer line repairs and <br /> appurtenances. The area proposed to� be assessed consists of all <br /> parcels of land in the City of St. Anthony which abut on Highcrest <br /> Road south of 37th Avenue N.E. <br /> This notice is given pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 <br /> as amended. The area proposed. to be .assessed for such improvement <br /> is the area described above. The total cost of such improvement <br /> is $2.40 ,476.67 of- which $49 ,-741..08.. is to be assessed to the property <br /> • owners of said. area. Such persons as desire to . be heard with <br /> reference to the proposed assessments will be heard at this meet- <br /> ing. (Objections must be in .writing. ) <br /> An owner may appeal an assessment to District Court pursuant to <br /> Minnesota Statutes, .Section 429 .081 by serving Notice of the <br /> Appeal upon the Mayor or Manager of the municipality within 30 days <br /> after the adoption of the assessment and filing such notice with <br /> the District Court within ten days after service upon the Mayor <br /> or Manager. <br /> Persons who are 65 years ,of agq or older may make application for <br /> a deferral of assessments to be levied against homestead property <br /> if a hardship can be established pursuant to MSA 435 .193 through <br /> 435. 195. <br /> James W.
