. RESOLUTION 80-056 <br /> A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF THE ISSUANCE <br /> OF A CERTIFICATE OF NEED FOR INTERMEDIATE <br /> CARE UNITS, ST. ANTHONY HEALTH CENTER <br /> Whereas, the N.E. Minneapolis-St. Anthony area has one of the <br /> highest percentages of elderly residents in the metropolitan area; <br /> Whereas; many of the elderly residents desire to remain in their <br /> community when they can no longer live in traditional housing, <br /> Whereas, there is a critical shortage of housing for families <br /> who might be able to purchase the home of an elderly resident were <br /> it to become available, <br /> Whereas, the St. Anthony Health Center has demonstrated a <br /> strong capability and dedication in serving the needs of elderly <br /> residents of the community, <br /> Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the City Council of the <br /> City of St. Anthony supports all efforts to provide housing alter- <br /> natives for the elderly and supports the application of .the St. Anthony <br /> Health Care Center for a Certificate of Need for intermediate care <br /> units. <br /> • <br /> Adopted this �.(o day of A,Q LLg'r 1980. <br /> � L =���/ <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Clerk <br /> Reviewed for Administration: <br /> Cit Manager <br /> • <br />
