i <br /> RESOLUTION 80-060 <br /> A RESOLUTION OPPOSING THE PHYSICAL <br /> DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE 'S RECOMMENDED <br /> ALLOCATION OF HUD SECTION 701 GRANT FUNDS <br /> (REFERRAL REPORT NO. 80-211) <br /> Whereas, the City of St. - Anthony applied for Section 701 Grant <br /> funds; <br /> Whereas, an evaluation criteria was established in the- request for <br /> proposals for said Grant Funds; <br /> Whereas , Metropolitan Council .staff_ evaluated the grant applications <br /> pursuant to said objectives and recommended that St. Anthony be <br /> deemed,-of. high priority. <br /> Whereas , due to. opposi.tion to the Metropolitan Council staff rec- <br /> ommendation concerning the grant- award, the Physical Development <br /> Committee recommended (Referral Report No. 80-211) that the grant <br /> award be based upon a criteria which- regards all applications as <br /> equally eligible. <br /> Whereas, the proposed funding level seriously jeopardizes the City 's <br /> ability to undertake the project; <br /> Now, Therefore, ,Be It.
