AGREEi-.ENT FOR WINTER ROAD MAIINITENANCE SERVICES <br /> . i <br /> - is agreement is entered into between the City of Saint Anthony , <br /> Ninneso ta , a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "City," and <br /> the County of Ramsey, a political subdivision of the State of Minnesota, herein- <br /> after referred to as the "County. " <br /> b,hereas, the County, through the Ramsey County Public Works Department, is <br /> responsible for the maintenance of certain roadways within the City; and <br /> ,,hereas, the City has the staff, equipment and proximity to these roadways <br /> to provide the winter maintenance necessary on the roads. <br /> ne parties mutually agree as follows : -j <br /> i . Services: The services which the City shall perform are as follows : <br /> a. The City shall provide complete winter maintenance <br /> on .48 miles of County roadways, more particularly <br /> described below: <br /> Silver Lane from Stinson Boulevard to <br /> Silver Lake Road .48 miles <br /> 'I <br /> b. The term "complete winter maintenance" includes but is <br /> not limited to snowplowing, salting and sanding. <br /> . . c. The City shall furnish -all equipment, materials, and <br /> staff necessary to provide complete winter maintenance. <br /> d. The City. shall provide winter maintenance beginning on <br /> the date of December 1 , 1980, through the <br /> date of March 31 , 1981 <br /> 2. Payment: The County shall- pay the City as follows: <br /> a. The County shall pay the City at the rate of $1 ,798.50 <br /> per mile per season, ( December 1 , 1980, through <br /> March 31 1981 and the total cost to the <br /> County shall be 863.28 <br /> b. The County shall pay the City for these services on <br /> submission of a billing at the end of the winter <br /> maintenance season or by June 15, 19 81 . <br />
