RESOLUTION 81-018 <br /> A RESOLUTION TO DEFEND, SAVE HARMLESS AND <br /> INDEMNIFY THE ST.. ANTHONY CABLE <br /> • TELEVISION ADVISORY COMMISSION <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to provide a legal defense to all Council <br /> menbers and City employees, whether elected or appointed, against <br /> any tort claim or demand against them arising out of their City <br /> office and employment. <br /> AND WHEREAS, the City has passed Resolution 78-018 which resolved <br /> that the City of St. Anthony shall defend and save harmless--and <br /> indemnify any of its officers and employees , whether elective or <br /> appointive, against any, tort claim or demand, whether groundless <br /> or otherwise, arising out of an alleged act or omission occurring <br /> in the performance of duty, when- requested, in writing, by the <br /> officer or employee involved. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of St. Anthony intends <br /> the general policy identified in the provisions of Resolution <br /> 78-018 shall also specifically apply to the St. Anthony Cable <br /> Television Advisory Commission. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution shall not apply in <br /> cases of malfeasance in office, or willful or wanton neglect of <br /> duty, or intoxication of the officer or employee involved. <br /> Adopted this /Q thl day of m0 r a , 1981. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> (: )cit'y Clerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: <br /> "_� = Cit anager <br />
