1J�� <br /> RESOLUTION 81-021 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING 1981 MODIFICATIONS <br /> IN THE NON-ORGANIZED PERSONNEL <br /> • 14ERIT COMPENSATION PROGRAM <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has established a merit compensation <br /> program. <br /> WHEREAS, the program is in need of the annual update for 1981. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed program elements, market <br /> compensation rates, performance appraisal processes and the City 's <br /> ability to pay. <br /> WHEREAS, considerable judgement and latitude rests with supervisory <br /> employees and the City Manager in the proper, equitable administra- <br /> tion of the program with full accountability of the program by the <br /> City Manager to the City Council. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council adopts the <br /> proposed program changes in view hereof as the City 's 1981 merit <br /> compensation program. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the total 1981 compensation available <br /> for the covered positions is an amount equal to to above the stated <br /> total salary range midpoints.
