AGREEMENT FOR WINTER ROAD MAINTENANCE SERVICES <br /> This agreement is entered into between the City of Saint Anthony <br /> Minnesota, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as the City, ands <br /> the County of Ramsey, a political subdivision of the State of Minnesota, herein-- <br /> after referred to as the "County." <br /> Whereas, the County, through the Ramsey County Public Works Department, is <br /> responsible for the maintenance of certain roadways within the City; and <br /> Whereas, the City has the staff, equipment and proximity to these roadways <br /> to provide the winter maintenance necessary on the roads. <br /> The parties mutually agree as follows: <br /> 1 . Services: The services which the City shall perform are as follows: <br /> a. The City shall provide winter maintenance on .48 miles <br /> of County roadways , more particularly described be ow: <br /> Silver Lane from Stinson Boulevard to <br /> Silver Lake Road .48 miles <br /> b. The term "winter maintenance" includes but is not limited to <br /> snowplowing, salting and sanding. <br /> c. The City shall furnish all equipment, materials, and staff <br /> necessary to provide winter maintenance. <br /> d. The City shall provide winter maintenance beginning on the <br /> date of December 1 , 1981 , through the date of <br /> March 31 , 1982 <br /> 2. Payment: The County shall pay the City as follows: <br /> a. The County shall pay the City at the rate of $ 1 ,798.50 <br /> per mile per season, ( December 1 , 1981 , t roug <br /> March 31 , 1982 ), and the total cost to the County <br /> shall be 863.28 <br /> -- b. The County shall pay the City for these services on sub- <br /> mission of a billing at the.• end of the winter maintenance <br /> season or by June 15, 19 82 . <br />
