• 7. In the event an animal impounded and boarded by order of the City Health Officer or <br /> placed under quarantine by ruling of the State Board of Health, said animal shall be board- <br /> ed as required by said order or ruling. At the end of such period, the City releases all of <br /> its interests, right and-control over said animals which may then be disposed of at the dis- <br /> cretion of MAPSI.*In the event that any dogs, cats, or other impounded animals are unclaim- <br /> ed after five (5) days, they shall become the property of MAPSI and may be disposed of <br /> or sold at their discretion. All proceeds from the disposition of such animals.may be re- <br /> tained by MAPSI, including any proceeds received from any animals disposed of in ac- <br /> cordance .to Minnesota Statutes 35.71 . <br /> 8. The City shall furnish to MAPSI all license forms, pound receipts and license tags as speci- <br /> fied in the Ordinance and MAPSI shall keep records of all animals impounded together with <br /> a.'description of the same. <br /> 9. MAPSI shall furnish all vehicles with two way radios and/or other communication equip- <br /> ment and agrees to service and maintain said equipment. <br /> 10. MAPSI shall assume liability for all harm to animals due to its negligence or that of its <br /> agents in not properly caring for the same, and agrees to defend any lawsuits arising there- <br /> from. Upon request, 'MAPSI shall .provide to the City proof of public liability "insurance in- <br /> eluding comprehensive automobile liability in an amount of at least $100,000 per each <br /> claimant and $300,000 per occurrence. <br /> • <br /> 11 . MAPSI agrees that during the period of this contract it will not, within the State of Min- <br /> nesota; discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, <br /> color, creed, sex, national origin, or ancestry and will include a similar provision in all sub- <br /> contracts entered into for the performance hereof. This paragraph is inserted in this con- <br /> tract to comply with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes 181.59. <br /> 12. The,City agrees to pay MAPSI for services in the performance of this contract:as follows: <br /> a. Price per hour per ambulance for furnishing Patrol Ambulance for scheduled hours of <br /> patrol, (actual time in service for City) <br /> $ 15 . 00 <br /> b. Price for each 24 hours or, fraction thereof for boarding any species of animal impound- <br /> ed by direction of City, officials or local ordinance. <br /> 4 .00. <br /> c. Price per each animal for destroying dogs or cats. <br /> 6. 00 <br /> d. Price per hour per ambulance for service during other than scheduled or regular working <br /> hours including travel time (Special Service). <br /> • $ 16 .00 <br />
