RESOLUTION 82-015 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN- AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF MINNESOTA, DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, BRIDGE DIVISION, FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF THE ST. ANTHONY BOULEVARD BRIDGE WHEREAS , the City. Council of the City of St.. Anthony desires to construct. a replacement bridge over the Burlington Northern Rail- road tracks on St. . Anthony ,Boulevard; and WHEREAS , the Burlington Northern Railroad has agreed to pay a portion of the cost .of. said bridge; .and WHEREAS , the State of Minnesota -has -.agreed to use bridge bonding funds to pay the remainder of- the cost of the bridge structure and will authorize the letting of bids for said bridge in the spring of 1982 ; and WHEREAS , the City of St. Anthong intends to use M.S.A. funding for the cost ofbridge approaches and engineering; - and WHEREAS , the City of St. Anthony agrees to turn over the amount • that Burlington Northern Railroad, Inc. pays toward the bridge cost to the State of Minnesota"_ for .the purpose of constructing a new bridge. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the agreement with the state of Minne- sota Bridge Division for construction of the St. Anthony Boulevard bridge on behalf of the City of St. Anthony .
