RESOLUTION 82-0'29 <br /> A RESOLUTION .AUTHORIZING JOINT AND COOPERATIVE <br /> AGREEMENT FOR USE OF FIRE PERSONNEL AND EQUIPMENT <br /> - NORTH SUBURBAN REGIONAL. MUTUAL AID ASSOCIATION <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the. Council of the City- of St. Anthony , as follows : <br /> WHEREAS , the City of St. Anthony is a member of the North Suburban <br /> Regional, Mutual Aid Association and -its Fire Chief is its authorized <br /> representative., and; <br /> WHEREAS , a mutual need exists between- members of the North Suburban <br /> Regional Mutual Aid Association to-. share and assist one another' in <br /> the areas of fire suppression, prevention, . training, public education, <br /> arson investigation, disaster control and mitigation, and; <br /> WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony considers it to be in the best <br /> interests of the City to enter into mutual agreement with the other <br /> members .of the North Suburban Regional Mutual Aid Association. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of St. Anthony enter <br /> into agreement with the North Suburban Regional- Mutual Aid Association <br /> • and hereby authorizes its Mayor and City Manager to sign such an <br /> agreement. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Fire Department of the City of <br /> St. Anthony, or any portion thereof, is authorized' to attend and <br /> serve fires outside the limits of the City of St. Anthony in accord- <br /> ance with ;such agreement, and that all .St._ .Anthony .firefighters doing <br /> so shall be considered as serving.- in their regular- line of duty as <br /> fully as if they were serving. within the limits of St. Anthony. <br /> Adopted this as day of J«n�� 1982 . <br /> Mayor <br /> &I-P 'TEST_: <br /> Rev eweti for administration: <br /> `` City Manager <br />
