RESOLUTION 83-013 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR 'AND <br /> CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT <br /> WITH HEALTH FITNESS CONSULTANTS FOR AN <br /> EMPLOYEE F-ITNESS- PROGRAM (POLICE/FIRE) <br /> WHEREAS , the- City Council recognizes the need to assure that <br /> Police and Fire Department personnel remain in top physical <br /> condition .to allow them to adequately meet the physical and <br /> emotional stress of their duties ; and <br /> WHEREAS , funds are allocated for such a program in the 1983 <br /> City Budget; and <br /> WHEREAS , the. Manager, Police Chief and Fire Chief have met with <br /> various agencies which assist in the implementation of such <br /> programs and have compared the techniques , strategies and philo- <br /> sophies employed by each firm as well as the costs involved and <br /> have recommended that Health Fitness Consultants , Inc. be retained <br /> to assist in implementation of a :fitness program. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE' IT RESOLVED, by. the City Council of the City <br /> of St. Anthony that the Mayor and City Manager be authorized to <br /> enter into an Agreement with Health Fitness Consultants, Inc. <br /> for the implementation of said fitness program at an estimated <br /> 1983 cost of $2 ,700 . <br /> Adopted this �- day- of Jain u-6-rV 1983 . <br /> P4,,9 <br /> ay r <br /> ATTEST: - <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: &1_�A <br /> City Manager <br />
