RESOLUTION 84-024 <br /> A RESOLUTION REQUESTING HOMESTEAD PROPERTIES DAMAGED <br /> BY THE APRIL 26 , 1984 STORM BE REASSESSED <br /> FOR PURPOSE OF SPECIAL TAX CREDIT <br /> WHEREAS , a severe storm did .pass through .the City of St. Anthony <br /> on April 26 , 1984; and <br /> WHEREAS, said storm did cause extensive property damage to residential <br /> properties in the City of St. Anthony; and <br /> WHEREAS-, the St. Anthony City Council has declared a state. of emer- <br /> gency due to the damage --caused by said storm;- and <br /> WHEREAS , Minnesota 'State Statutes 273 . 123 provides for a reassess- <br /> ment for , the. pur.poses of a special. tax credit upon application to <br /> the Governor of the. State of Minnesota and the Executive Council. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED_, by .the St. Anthony City Council that <br /> the City of St. Anthony does hereby request that the homestead property <br /> damage from the storm of April 26 , 1984 , be reassessed for the pur- <br /> pose of . special tax credit .for property damaged by a disaster under <br /> provisions of Minnesota State Statutes 273. 123 . <br /> Adopted this g day of Mn �7 1984 . <br /> May r <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: <br /> City Manager <br />
